Our New Band Name, “ManoaAND”

I’m happy to report that in order to feature Alex more in the band, we have changed our name to “ManoaAND” and placed Alex’s name at the head of the table! This is to not only satisfy his leadership in the group, but also his desire to be in the spotlight. NaaaaaahhhhhHH! Haha, I know I said last night that I was done with April Fool’s Day, but I guess not! Got ya! Happy April everyone, and happy April Fool’s Day! Here’s my first update for April!

The week started off REALLY busy! After my small update last week, we headed over to the State Capitol to witness Grandma’s proclomations. She was honored for her birthday coming up this month, as well as for IOLANI’s 60th anniversary! Congratulations Grandma!

It was off to a week of great sunsets, as I spent Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night in Waikiki for various events. Here is a snapshot of the sunset on Friday night. It may be freezing here at night, but at least there are breaks in the clouds for some beautful views!

After a week of rain, beautiful sunsets were in store for ManoaDNA!

On Thursday, I was back on the set of HI*Sessions shooting a couple more artist updates. This month, we shot two ukulele players, Kris Fuchigami and Brittni Paiva! If you look closely at Kris’ shot below, you will notice two ManoaDNA guys, Mark & Seann, playing with him! He stole our band!

Of course a couple of Easter photos are in order! Here’s one I took of my friend, Mark, dying Easter eggs. It’s become somewhat of a tradition for me, and I’m glad my friends could come down and enjoy it as well!

Hope everyone is enjoying the spring season! It is freezing (relatively) here in Manoa, and I’m ready for summer to begin! We have one more busy week ahead, so keep in touch and we’ll see you soon!

ALOHA!
