Ahhhh … it’s Sunday, a day to relax and catch up on some stuff around the house!  Spent yesterday morning playing in our Club Day tournament out at Waialae, before heading home to get ready for Kani Ka Pila.  The skies were dark and overcast all day with a few raindrops here and there, but it pretty much stayed dry throughout the day and night.  It just poured a little while ago, but I’m hoping it was just here in the valley since Nick and Alex are throwing a birthday party for a friend down at the beach park ….

Kani Ka Pila was a blast, as usual … that place gets a real nice mix of locals and visitors from all over the world.  I was complaining about the rain to a couple from Minnesota and they kind of looked at me like I was crazy … they said they’d trade our liquid sunshine for their freezing 20 degree weather any day!  Hmmm … I guess you do get spoiled when living in the most beautiful place on earth!  By the way, I was glad to hear that the folks out in West Oahu finally got their electricity back after the HECO union workers walked off their jobs and left many neighborhoods without power on Friday …

I’m going to play some squash this morning and then bring home some lunch for the ladies … maybe they’ll even let me take them out to brunch??  See what a nice guy I am?!  LOL!

Aloha, “D”
