Can’t believe the weekend’s here again … another November week is now history! This was one of those weeks where even though I was always busy, I can’t seem to recall anything really important … hmmm, am I getting wiser or just old?? I’m also constantly reminded about how important it is to live each day to its fullest and how important my family & friends are. This week I found out that two of my good friends were stricken with cancer and now face a long, hard battle against this awful disease … it really sucks!
It was another great Fall Club Day golf tournament yesterday at Waialae even though my partner and I kinda choked. Ever heard of the old cliche’ “Early ripe, early rot”? Well, that was us – we shot an awesome 47 on the front nine, then proceeded to self-destruct for a 62 on the back! I still can’t figure out what happened – I mean, we were on fire on the front nine – birdie, birdie, birdie … then on the back it was, bogey, double bogey, bogey! It was like the wheels suddenly fell off the car .. no, it was more like our entire car fell apart! Oh well, that’s golf …
ManoaDNA is performing for a fundraiser tonight down at the old Kapono’s at the Aloha Tower Marketplace, and then we’re back at Kani Ka Pila Grille tomorrow evening. Hope to see you all there!
Aloha, “D”
