Kani Ka Pila rocks!

Good morning, peeps!  It’s 6:30am on a cool, breezy Sunday morning here in beautiful Manoa valley and I’m hanging a bit from a little too much merriment at the Kani Ka Pila Grille last night!  It was a packed house with visitors from all over the world – Japan, Canada, Europe, and of course, the mainland … and we were even blessed with some light rain mists coming out of the valley early on.  I want to send a big mahalo out to Shion who jumped in with his train whistle for “Ka’aahi Kahului” … you were great!

We’re heading out to Hawai’i Prince today for our monthly DNA Golf outing.  It’s the first tournament of 2011 so we’ll see if anyone’s improved from last year! (doubt it!)  I was supposed to finish taking down our Christmas lights this weekend, but I guess it’s gonna have to wait till next week … I didn’t realize how many strings of lights Nick had put up!  I must have pulled down at least 10 sets yesterday and there’s still a lot of lights on our house!

Oh, oh … here come the puppies!  We only have two of them this morning because Jazzie stayed over at Nick’s last night.  Peanut was also supposed to sleep over at Alex’s house but ended up coming home … maybe he got homesick?  Anyway, they’re giving me the evil eye so I guess it’s time for their walk!

Aloha, “D”
