Rain seems to have stopped but the skies are still overcast. We got reports that there may be more rain on the way this week, so it could be a very wet Christmas! Anyway … it rained so hard the other day that our design room flooded at IOLANI! The rain gutter next to the room had deteriorated so much that water had gotten into the hollow tile wall and flooded the room. Nick vacuumed as much of the water as he could last night and we left a bunch of fabric scraps on the floor to soak up whatever was left, but we’ll see how it is this morning.
We’re having our IOLANI employee Christmas lunch today, so it’ll be another busy day ….
