A little follow up to our toy drive! While we couldn’t keep exact monetary track of our donation, we estimate that we ended up donating well over $5,000 in toys to the O’ahu Marines Toys for Tots Foundation. Thanks to your donations online, donations at Gordon Biersch, and raffle ticket purchases, we were able to really help families here in Hawai’i this Christmas season!
Speaking of raffle donations, we raised over $1,100 dollars during the toy drive! We decided to take that money and go to a local toy store and purchase more toys for donation. Here’s how it went:
While we got enjoyment in shopping, the real purpose was to get as many toys to Toys for Tots as possible. Without your raffle ticket purchases, this could not have happened!
