Aloha, peeps! Woke up this morning to darkness, rain, thunder, and lightning … and it was already 8:30am! I was thinking to myself, “this is must be some storm – it’s as dark as midnight!” … then realized that the hurricane shutters had been lowered making the room pitch black! Hahaha! Oh well, this will be the perfect day to stay in and watch the 3rd round of the Masters … and besides, we could use a day of just doing NOTHING! On Thursday we played golf out at the Hawk’s Nest Country Club with my bro-in-law, and yesterday Nick, Alex, and I played a round at the John’s Island CC … shot horribly on both days but totally enjoyed every minute of it! Even though Florida is a million miles away from home, it’s so wonderful to be here with family and to just unwind … total bliss! And though we head back West pretty soon, I’m going to enjoy these wonderful moments for as long as I can …
