Early morning call time!

Good morning, peeps!

Had to get up real early this morning for an appearance on KGMB’s Hawai’i News Now to promote the Japan International Fashion Fair next week.  ‘IOLANI is one of 11 vendors from Hawai’i who will be there showcasing some of their latest fashions as part of the state’s efforts (Dept. of Business, Economic Development & Tourism) to help revitalize Hawai’i’s fashion industry.  The event runs from July 18-20, and will be held at Tokyo’s Big Sight convention center in Odaiba.  Carla and Yuna will be there to represent IOLANI so if any of you plan to be there, please stop by and say hi!  Miss Hawai’i 2012, Ms. Skyler Kamaka, will also be there to help in the promotion.

Stopped off at Sam Choy’s BLC on NImitz Hwy. for some breakfast after the show and ordered their fresh fish & eggs.  The featured fish was ono (or wahoo for you non-locals) and it was delicious … so I guess you could say that the ono was really “ono“!  hahaha!  Anyway, I’m now back home and about to head down to IOLANI to do some work … then I plan to attend the inurnment of my friend Gregg’s dad’s ashes up at the Punchbowl National Cemetery.  After that, it’s back into the studio for rehearsal for tomorrow’s Wildest Show concert at the Honolulu Zoo.  Busy, busy, busy …

Aloha, “D”
