‘Morning, everybody!
What’s with this weather?! It’s been so hot the last week in Manoa and this morning it’s raining … not that I’m complaining, of course, because I’ll take cool rain over hot any day! Experts are forecasting a really hot summer – ugh! – which usually means brown lawns and brush fires, especially over on the leeward side.
Went and got my shoulder worked on again … damn thing sounds & feels like a rusted joint! Can’t stop playing squash, though … the way I figure it, my shoulder’s not going to get any better so I may as well enjoy myself while I still can! My squash buddies have been urging me to get it surgically corrected … what, are you kidding me?! Me, Mr. Needlephobia?! In your dreams …
Hey, it’s the Memorial Weekend … you guys got anything special planned? I’ve got an early tee time this morning and then head over to the IOLANI on KONA ST. store to shoot an ad video for the Miss Hawai’i pageant. And since Alex is already in Japan (soon to be joined by us), ManoaDNA will not be performing this weekend. Our sincerest apologies to many of our fans who are in town for the Na Hoku Hanohano Awards and were hoping to catch us at Lulu’s or Kani Ka Pila Grille. I hope to see you guys again soon!
