‘Morning, all!
And no, I’m not talking about the vegetable squash .. I’m talkin’ about squash, the racket game! My buddy, Tim, is in town and a bunch of us got together yesterday and ended up playing some of the most intense games of squash that I’ve played in years! Guys were flying around the court, crashing into walls, and inventing new “4-letter words” … boy, was it fun! The only bummer was when I tripped and fell during one of the rallies and messed up my shoulder – again! So this morning it’s kinda stiff and making weird clicking noises whenever I move it around … but hey, at least I did end up winning the game so it wasn’t a total loss …
I’m starting to prepare for our trip to Japan in a couple of weeks and can already feel the excitement and anticipation beginning to grow. I’m going to have to pack real light this time since we’ll be doing a lot of commuting by train and I don’t want to haul a lot of stuff through the stations. I also need to check and see if the airlines will let me hand-carry my guitar on to the plane … that way, I can bring my lighter gig bag instead of the heavier hard case. So much to do and so little time!
Aloha, “D”
