Aloha!
It’s the day before Christmas and our home is alive with activity. Tradition runs deep in the Kawakami family as we prepare to welcome family & friends to our home to celebrate the Christmas Eve. Today will be insanity at its finest as the ladies get busy doing whatever it is they do to get everything ready for tonight’s festivities. I will do my best to be invisible and stay out of the way as much as possible, but it usually doesn’t last very long. I do know that we probably won’t be putting up a tent in our yard this time because gale force winds are forecast for this weekend! Last thing I need is to go chasing a tent down the street … and believe me, I’ve done that before! We still have to figure out how to set up some sort of outside cover so the boys can deep-fry the turkey and other goodies, though, but I’m sure we’ll figure something out …
So on behalf of the Kawakami ohana, I’d like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and mahalo for all your friendship & support! Please have a safe and happy holiday weekend … God bless you all!
Much aloha, “D”
