The battle rages on …

Aloha, everyone!

It’s Day 2 of the “Great Jet Lag Battle” and it feels like the forces of Good (me) are finally starting to overcome the forces of Evil (jet lag).  Although I’m still a little disoriented and not quite back to my regular sleeping habits, there are signs that I’m slowly getting back to my cranky old self … hmmmm, I don’t know if that’s good or bad!  In any case, the battle continues and I predict total victory within the next few days!

I played in a 100th Battalion/442nd Regiment golf tournament yesterday out at the Navy Marine golf course with my Thursday golf buddies.  Besides trying to figure out what planet I was on, I did manage to remember how to grip and swing a golf club (barely) but more importantly, I didn’t hit anyone!  We had a lot of fun, though, and I want to thank Les and Alton for inviting us to play on their teams.

Oh yeah … here are a couple of pics from our recent Japan trip.  The first is the cool Phiten bracelet that was given to me because of my injured wrist (and elbow, and shoulder, and hip, and ankle, etc …) recently.  Thanks Tetsu & Kayoko!

The second one is my favorite – it’s a picture of the Mochida’s family dog which is affectionately named Lloyd-0 … hmmm, I wonder if there are any similarities with yours truly??  Don’t even go there … hahaha!  But ya gotta admit, he’s pretty cute!!

Aloha, “D”
