Tokyo Weekend

Hey everybody! It’s Aloha Friday here Japan and we just got back from eating some great curry udon (noodles) and tempura for lunch. We have another short meeting this afternoon before heading on over to Tokyo’s Big Sight convention center for media evening at the JATA World Trade Fair. It’s been a great trip so far, but I’m ready come home!

Our live show over at Thumbs Up in Yokohama was a huge success, and I want to sincerely thank all of our great fans who came out to support us! It was so great to see all of you again! The show was sold out weeks ago and you could feel the awesome energy in the air that evening as the boys and I presented a more contemporary MDNA to our audience. I also want to thank you all for the great omiyage (gifts) that you brought for us!

I also wanted to take this time to apologize to many of our fans who came to see us at Moon Romantic on Monday evening. We usually like to greet and thank our fans after all of our performances, but were unable to that night due a meet & greet business reception immediately following our show. I know a lot of our fans were very upset at the way they were treated by the staff and the boys and I wanted to personally apologize for the way it was handled. Our fans are the best in the world and we truly appreciate all their love and support!

The boys and I were invited to a wine tasting party at The Oakwood next to the Ritz Carlton in Roppongi last night, but had to leave early since Seann had to get to the airport to catch his flight back to Hawaii. I want to send a big mahalo to Leila and Amy for inviting us to the event!

Aloha, “D”
