It’s early afternoon here in Las Vegas and I’m sort of vegging out and watching some NCIS and college football on the boob tube. The UH Warriors are here to play the Runnin’ Rebels of UNLV tonight out at Boyd Stadium, and some of our guys are going to the game. Some of us are just going to stay here and watch the game in the Sports Book because I much prefer sitting in a nice soft chair in air conditioned comfort instead of in a hot stadium on a hard bench! The beer’s much colder too!
Yesterday we played out at Spanish Trails Golf Club for the first time. It was another beautiful, hot day out on the links and this time I shot better … an 85. Although I didn’t blow up on any hole, I sort of lost it on the back nine after shooting a 39 on the front. In any case, we all had a great time and I even found a great Panama hat in the pro shop. It should give me good protection from the sun, especially at Waialae!
I’m headed out to Trader Joe’s to pick up some goodies for the folks back home, including the puppies, and malls and then tomorrow we’ll be headed to the malls to do more damage.
