Vegas!

Wassup, guys?!  I am now in Las Vegas with my Selohssa golf gang for our annual Great Escape golf tournament.  We played at Boulder Creek G.C. yesterday and play at Spanish Trails today.  I won’t even tell you what I shot yesterday but here’s a hint:  I got two 8’s, a 9, and a 10 during my round … and I was the high net scorer for the day!  I did see some  coyotes, road runners, rabbits, hawks, and squirrels so it wasn’t a total waste of time.  I sure hope I play better today … but then again, I can’t do much worse!  There are a lot of Hawai’i people in town for the football game tomorrow.  U.H. was favored by 20 points over UNLV, but the spread suddenly started dropping yesterday … hmmm, what’s going on?!  We’ll find out tomorrow night, I guess ….

Both Carla’s mom and my mom are with us on this trip.  They’re having a great time but it’s like everything is in slow motion with them.  Of course, the fact that they’re 90+ years old could be the main reason!  hahaha!  I sure hope I’m in as good a shape as they are when (or if) I ever get to that age!
