Aloha, everyone, and I hope you’re having a great Monday! Sorry for the missed blog yesterday … had to leave the house at 6:30am to go out to Royal Kunia Golf Club for an early round with the DNA boys. Ended up shooting an 80 even after 3-putting five of the greens! Was also preoccupied with all the Sept. 11th tributes going on … can’t believe it’s already been 10 years since the attack. Seems like it was only yesterday. I can’t stand it when the media calls it a “tragedy” … hey guys, a tragedy is something unplanned and unexpected like an accident or house fire. 9/11 was a premeditated mass murder of civilians and a blatant act of war on this country so enough with the political correctness, ok?!
Our beloved U.H. Warriors lost to the Washington Huskies on Saturday, 40-32. Once again, the Warrior defense allowed too many points in the first half and just couldn’t catch up despite a valiant 2nd half effort. This year’s team is young and there’s still a lot of room for improvement, but they definitely have the potential and I can’t wait to see how they do later in the season. It’ll be interesting to see how they do this week against UNLV up in Vegas.
Aloha, “D”
Great post, and I have to agree about 9/11. Â I’m trying to learn your song “Our Hawaii”. Â Would you be willing to share the chord progression with me? Â Thanks so much, and keep up the great grooves.
