“Sunday morning, rain is falling .. ” – song lyrics that perfectly describe the morning here in Manoa. Just got back from walking the puppies and although the ground’s a little wet, it’s still very nice and cool. I went down to Waikiki yesterday to drop off a shirt for my friend Leon, and he took me over to the Royal Hawaiian Hotel to grab some lunch. I usually hate going into Waikiki because of the traffic and parking, but once there, I really enjoy it because it’s such a great atmosphere and there’s always a lot of activity going on around you. As we sat on the veranda overlooking the beach, I could see why visitors love coming here – it truly is one of the most beautiful places in the world, bar none! Of course, I always get emotional after a couple of brewskies … yeehaaa!
I also decided to play squash yesterday even though my shoulder sucks … BAD DECISION! And like before, I was able to play a few games before it started to hurt and stiffen up. Now it feels terrible and I have to play golf with my Selohssa golf gang this morning out at Royal Kunia … time to rub on the Icy Hot and get the wounded shoulder back in action before tee time! I may be an idiot, but I AM a warrior ….
MDNA performed for the Laugh For Lions fundraiser last night over at the Mamiya Theater which featured well-known comedian, Dat Phan. If you haven’t seen this guy before, he’s HILARIOUS!! He was the winner of NBC’s first “Last Comic Standing” competition and has recently been featured on DirecTV’s “The Whale”. I almost pee’d in my pants from laughing so hard …
