‘Morning, all!  I think I must be getting better since I haven’t coughed at all this morning … yessss!  Oops, spoke too soon (cough, cough) … damn!  Anyway, on to my Vegas recap …

We were at the Fremont Street Experience checking out all the weird people and street vendors when we suddenly heard the high pitched whine of a zip line overhead!  The start of the zip line was an eight story tower located a couple of blocks away and ended under the covered area of the Experience.  The boys immediately made a beeline for the zip tower while I stayed near the finish line to try and capture them with my iPhone.  Here are some of the pics …

Also, do you guys remember a photo that I posted some time ago of a Vegas building under construction that looked like a tornado had hit it?  Well, I saw the building again on this trip and it’s completed – and still looks like a tornado hit it!  I heard that it was some clinic for Alzheimer’s research … hmmm, figures.

By the way, have you seen featured pic in my last two blogs?  It’s the “Aloha Spoken Here” sign that we spotted right near the entrance to the California Hotel.  I admit that I haven’t walked through Waikiki in a while but I’ve never seen anything like this posted anywhere.  I mean, come on … shouldn’t this be something we should be proudly displaying here?!  What’s wrong with this picture, people?!

Got a full day coming up today … besides IOLANI, I’m going to try and get in a PRO workout and some squash this afternoon.  I also got a cool DVD from some of kumu hula Sandii’s students in Japan who choreographed a hula to ManoaDNA’s “Aloha You – Kizuna” song which we wrote for NHK’s popular Minna No Uta program last year.  Mahalo, keikis … I can’t wait to check it out!!
