Back at GBs tonite!

Boy, the winds are really blowing this morning here in the valley.  Whenever the winds start blowing, I always go and check our old avocado tree out back because everyone’s afraid that it will blow over and smash our house.  Everyone’s telling me to cut it down, but I don’t want to … call me sentimental (it also gives the BEST avocados ever!).

ManoaDNA’s performing tonight at Gordon Biersch and I can’t wait!  Why, you ask?  Well, it’s because GBs is the only venue where we can bring our drummer and really cut loose.  I also get to bust out my 6-string CA acoustic and Alex gets to wail on his Strat … yeah, it’ll be like old times again!

We had a nice reception for the Executive Women International group at the IOLANI on Kona St. store last night.  Everyone enjoyed an evening of heavy pupus, drinks, and shopping along with background music provided by Alex.  If you’re looking for a truly unique venue for your next gathering, be sure to check out IOLANI on Kona St.!  I want to send out a big mahalo to Tracy and Maegan for organizing this wonderful benefit event!

Aloha, “D”
