Aloha, peeps … it’s a quiet Sunday morning here in Manoa. We all went to the bon dance last night and got our fill of hamburgers, teri chicken, andagi, and shave ice. Except for the andagi hot dog, the food was pretty bad which was a surprise since the food at these festivals are usually pretty decent. It also rained a bit which isn’t surprising for Manoa, but it didn’t affect the festivities one bit as everyone kept on dancing and celebrating throughout the night. I didn’t participate in the dancing though, and as usual, vowed to try it next year ….
I’m going to play squash later this morning since my wrist is not too sore. I found out that icing my wrist after working out really helps keep the swelling down and minimizes the pain. I played golf yesterday and shot a decent score of 84, with birdies on the 1st & 18th holes. I also spent a lot of time in the sand bunkers (at least 7 or 8 holes) and felt like I was at the beach instead of the golf course!
Alex returns from Vegas this morning so I’m sure he’ll be exhausted. I’ve pretty much recovered from my jet lag and Nick also looks like he’s back to normal too …
Aloha, “D”

Take care of your wrist ! Muri-shinaide,ne☆
Today, Tokyo is quiet rainny day. Many people go to their home town
during ” o-bon sceason” , so
there are less people in the train and towns rather than usural.
I’m comfortable because of I can ride vacant train.

Hi Noriko-san!
