We had lunch yesterday with our friends, the Taguchis, at the Mariposa Restaurant in Neiman Marcus. Kudos to general manager Duane Kawamoto and his staff for their excellent food and service! One of the specials they served was a salad consisting of watermelon, avocado, and Nalo greens, tossed in a light vinagrette dressing and served on a thin, tortilla shell – it was so ONO!
We won’t be at our regular Lulu’s or Kani Ka Pila this week – we’ve got Hot Hawaiian Nights at the Hale Koa Hotel’s Barefoot Bar, and then we’ve got private functions on Saturday & Sunday. See ya ….
