It’s around noontime here in the ‘valley and it’s hot! I just got back from playing some left-handed squash at the Honolulu Club, and also brought home some fresh quesadilla from their health bar. Carla & Linda swear that this is the best quesadilla in town – it’s a giant tortilla stuffed with chicken, cheeses, and peppers, and comes with sour cream & guacamole. I think I’ll probably go over to Serg’s Mexican Kitchen here in Manoa to get some carnitas later …
My wrist is still pretty sore, but it doesn’t seem to be getting any worse. I tried playing left-handed squash today and it was a little weird, but it was good to get back on the court again. At least my wrist doesn’t bother me when I strum my guitar.
It was an interesting night at Kani Ka Pila Grille last night … nice & mellow with mostly tourists from the mainland. We had a great time making new fans from California, Oregon, Florida, and Iowa. This Wednesday, we’ll be at the Honolulu Zoo to kick-off the Wildest Show summer concert series. If you’re not doing anything on Wednesday, come on down … showtime is 6:00PM and we’ll be there with the full MDNA band. We’ll also be selling our brand new yet-to-be-released CD, “EVOLUTION”.
