Home stretch!

It’s Thursday and we’re entering the final weekend of our Japan Golden Week Tour!  It’s been another wonderful experience for me & the boys and I want to thank all of our fans for coming out to support us!  You guys are awesome!

Yesterday, we had a nice radio interview at InterFM with Guy & Sayoko … they’re really great and we had met them last year when we did our first interview at InterFM.  Then last night we attended Aureana Tseu’s production show, Voyage, which featured Kaumakaiwa Kanaka’ole and a large cast of dancers and singers from Hawai’i.  It was held at the Bunkamura Hall in Shibuya and was quite entertaining!   After the show, Sam took us to this very small & private sake bar near our hotel – it only sat 8 people – where we sampled some of the best nihon-shu I have ever tasted!  Along with the sake, we were served several small appetizers of which my favorite was the shredded daikon radish with this awesome crab topping – delicious!  Mahalo again, Sam!

We’re having lunch today with our dear friends, the Taguchis, and then we have a reception tonight at the new Hawai’i Tourism Japan’s office in Caretta Shiodome.  I just saw a photo their new offices and thought that it was a flower shop – their were so many congratulatory bouquets and arrangements!

Tomorrow we’ll be performing at the Riki Riki Deli in Chigasaki so we hope to see many of you out there …

Aloha, “D”
