Fun time in Shibuya!

Aloha, everyone!  It’s Wednesday morning (Tuesday PM in Hawai’i) and I’m just sort of cruising until noon when we have another radio interview.  Tonight we’re going to see our friend Aureana’s hula production out in Shibuya, and then Sam is taking us out for “refreshments” afterward.  We played golf yesterday out at the Ohtone Country Club with our good friend, Ichikura-san, and once again, he and I lost to Nick & Alex!  What made it worse was that it was raining the whole time, the boys were using borrowed clubs, and this was Ichikura-san’s home course!   We all had a great time anyway, and want to send a big mahalo out to Takashi for putting up with our shenanigans!

Last night we did a short gig at a small club in Shibuya where we played a lot more of our contemporary music.  It was our first exposure to that side of the Japan music scene, and it was a lot of fun and very interesting.  I now realize how different this market is and how much more we need to learn and experience if we want to be successful.  This is going to be an amazing journey!

Aloha, “D”
