Shabu-shabu heaven!

Aloha, peeps!  It’s Sunday here in Tokyo and it looks like it’s going to be a gorgeous day!  We had 3 performances for Hawaii Tourism Japan yesterday and the last stage at Caretta Shiodome was FREEZING!  I got to try the new Subway “Waikiki Cobb Salad” sandwich and it was awesome!  I wish the Hawai’i Subways would carry it but I think it’s only going to be featured for a limited time here in Japan.  After we were done, our manager Ann and her family took us to dinner at a great shabu-shabu restaurant in Caretta Shiodome .. I ate so much I thought my eyes were going to pop out.  Sam also ordered some shochu which came heated, and it was so smooth and ono that I had to force myself to stick to beer or else I’d get into some real trouble!

Our good friends, the Taguchis, came to see us at Venus Fort yesterday and brought us some awesome sushi and my favorite ten-musu!  Mahalo plenty, Taguchis!!  I also want to thank all of our fans who came out to see our performances and buy our CDs … we love you guys!  Also, a big mahalo to Hirai-san and her team from JVC who have been assisting us every day!  And finally … a very special mahalo to our manager, Ann, and her hard-working husband Sam, along with sons Takuya and Hiroki, for taking such good care of us!

Aloha, “D”
