Hey, it’s the “D”! On today’s DISCOVER ALOHA! radio show, I talked about the first annual Na Hoku Festival which comes up at the end of May. This 4-day celebration of Hawai’i’s music and its artists centers around the Na Hoku Hanohano music awards, Hawai’i’s version of the Grammys. And although our CD, “EVOLUTION”, is not eligible for nomination this year, we will still be participating in the festival so you can check out our website for details. We also had a great talk story segment with Tony Conjugacion and were treated to a live radio performance by the Great One! For those of you who are familiar with the local seasoning called li hing powder, we recommended our top 5 favorite food snacks that go well with li hing.
