A very happy Easter Sunday to you all (except in Japan where it’s Monday morning already!)! It’s still rainy and very windy up here in Manoa and the strong, gusty winds are expected to last through next week! I don’t they’ll be having too many Easter egg hunts this morning!
We performed for our friend Jason Morgan’s wedding last night out at beautiful Hale Moli’i which is part of the Kualoa Ranch. There’s a place called Secret Island which is located on the beach separating the Hale Moli’i fishpond from the ocean. We used to take the boys camping there every year with our Indian Guides father/son group.  The Morgan family, owners of Kualoa Ranch, have been dear friends of ours for many years, and Jason, Kevin, Nick, and Alex were buddies and classmates at Punahou. It seems like only yesterday that these kids were running around the beach chasing sand crabs … and now here they are all grown up! I get all choked up just thinking about it ….
We’re going to have breakfast with my mom this morning and then I’m just going to chill for the rest of the day. We have dinner with friends later tonight which will be the perfect ending to a great Easter Sunday! Please take care and enjoy this wonderful day!
