‘Morning everybody! We had another late night in the recording studio last night, but things are finally coming together for our new CD. I thought we’d have a lot of time to work on this CD, but our Japan projects ended up taking so long to complete that we’re now pressed to meet another deadline .. again! It’s all good, though, and I’m looking forward to hearing the final mix real soon! We ordered dinner from Murphy’s, which is across the street from the studio, and I had the fish ‘n chips which was actually pretty good! The trouble with eating a meal while working is that I get real sleepy and actually ended up falling asleep during the session! And I must have been snoring pretty loudly because I woke myself up a couple of times!
I don’t know what’s wrong with my golf game recently … I can’t seem to put together a solid 18 holes! I shot a 38 on the front nine, and then struggled on the back with a 44! But the worst thing was that I lost to my archrival, Alton, who was putting like crazy while I couldn’t make a putt to save my life! We also made a bet yesterday on whether Tiger Woods would make the 2-day cut at the upcoming Masters … I don’t think he will, although I really want him to do well.
We won’t be at Lulu’s or Kani Ka Pila this weekend. We’re performing for Fashion Night on Centerstage at Ala Moana Center tonight and then we’re attending the Cherry Blossom Festival pageant tomorrow night. Nick’s good friend, Andie, is one of the contestants .. good luck, Andie!
