Light at the end of the tunnel

Yes, that’s right folks .. we’re almost done with all of the projects which we started back in November!  We’ve been working non-stop (especially poor Alex!) on several projects, mostly for Japan.  We finished laying the tracks for our new CD #3 last night and are now starting to mix it, although we may still do some minor tweaking before it goes to mastering.  Mastering a recording is like adding the final coat of polish on a newly painted car – it gives it that showroom shine that makes it so unique and beautiful!

We have a radio interview this morning at Studio Rim in Waikiki which is run by our pal “Pele” Reiko Rogers, and we’ll be talking about our participation in the upcoming Na Hoku Festival at the end of May.  This will be the first annual Na Hoku Festival event and it will culminate with the Na Hoku Hanohano Awards ceremony on the final night.  We were honored to be asked to participate even though we do not have a CD up for nomination … but next year we will!

Aloha, “D”
