Oh, oh .. the dreaded vog is back since the winds have shifted again. We’ve had a lot of “voggy” days recently and it’s really affecting our sinuses and vocal chords – bad timing since we’re in the middle of recording! It was another late night in the studio last night .. I left around 10:30pm but Alex & Milan were there much later trying to finish up the last track for JVC Victor. I hope Alex was able to eat something afterward because he was starving! We’re going back into the studio early this afternoon to continue recording and want to finish everything by this weekend or early next week. Wish us luck!
I was able to join Carla and a couple of our friends at Side Street Inn before heading over to the recording studio last night. For those of you who’ve never been to Side Street, it’s located in our IOLANI building right next to the Ala Moana Center and it serves some of the best local grinds in town! My favorites are the fried rice, spicy chicken, pork chops (cut fresh daily!), yaki soba, and the steamed moi … sooooo ono, broke da’ mout!!
