Windy night!

Good morning, peeps!  I can’t believe how strong the winds were last night – there was stuff crashing down all night and I’m almost afraid to go outside to see what happened!  And not only was the wind going nuts, but it was REALLY cold too … must’ve been the northerly trades since there was a definite chill in the air.  At least I got a good rest this weekend – the only activity I had was a game of squash yesterday morning, and vacuuming the studio – other than that, I ate a lot of Carla’s homemade chili – mmmm (does eating count as an “activity”?)!  I did drop by Kua Aina at Ward Center to pick up a couple of burgers and my favorite BLT w/ avocado.  They make the best BLT, and when you add the avocado it turns into pure heaven!  Also watched the closing ceremonies of the Winter Olympics in Vancouver … pretty awesome and inspiring!

Getting ready to go back into the studio to start work on our new CD.  I feel rested and my voice is feeling pretty good so … IT’S TIME TO ROCK ‘N ROLL, BABY!!

Aloha, “D”
