Good morning! Nothing much happening today … we have a meeting this morning with Herb Jr. to discuss the new CD which we’re currently working on. My voice is not quite back to normal yet – it still feels tight whenever I try to sing above a certain range so I gotta be careful not to push it too much. We’ll be in the studio later this afternoon to record another radio show for Nagoya’s Radio-I 97.5. By the way, if you happen to hear our show and would like to comment, please email us at dna@radio-i.co.jp.
I had a nice time with our friends, the Taguchis, yesterday out at Waialae. It was a beautiful day for golf and we had a lot of fun although our scores were not so good! Afterwards, we met my mother and the rest of the family at Paesano’s in Manoa for dinner and were treated to an impromptu “concert” with Taguchi-san on uke, and his wife, Aiko on vocals – right there in the restaurant! We had a blast and I’m sure the other restaurant patrons were wondering what the heck was going on. Our friends fly back to Japan this Thursday so I hope we get to see them when we go up for Golden Week in May.
Aloha, “D”
I can’t wait new CD with Junior!! Also I can’t wait KoAloha Party at Pakele Live too!
