We have a full schedule this weekend starting tonight with our regular Friday gig at Lulu’s in Waikiki. On Saturday we have a radio promotion for the Punahou Carnival in the morning, followed by a performance at Kani Ka Pila Grille in the evening. Our annual ManoaDNA Golf Club Awards banquet is on Sunday to round out the weekend, so you can see we’ll be pretty busy. It might have been a good idea to not perform this weekend since we’ve just returned from a trip and Alex and I are not feeling so hot … oh well, as they say “the show must go on!”.
Our puppies were so glad to see us when we arrived home late last night. After spending time with Pam’s Jack Russel, Berkie, our dogs seemed so huge! Berkie weighs about 17 lbs., and is a tiny little thing – Peanut, on the hand, weighs over 30 lbs. and almost knocked me down when he greeted us! The puppies were a little confused, however, when they saw only the 3 of us since Carla is still back in Florida. Poor Buster was especially disappointed but should be very happy when Carla returns next week!
