‘Morning all! Got a busy day ahead of me .. meetings this morning for our new IOLANI retail store which is set to open this Spring, squash at lunch, radio show recording later in afternoon, and then my friend’s father’s funeral after that. Whew!
Anyway, we have a new houseguest – her name is Hoku and she’s staying with us for a short while. I’ve enclosed a picture of her – cute yeah? Our house now looks like a pet store with dogs all over the place!
We went to a sake tasting last night down at Restaurant Row put on by the Hawai’i sake club. They featured many varieties of special celebratory sake – I especially liked the New Year’s assortment which had gold flakes in them! So ONO!! We’re going to feature the sake club on one of our “Talk Story” segments of our ManoaDNA-Discover Aloha! radio show … they have an interesting story on how sake brewing started here in Hawai’i! Be sure to tune in!
