It’s the first Monday of 2010 … the first official work day for IOLANI, and already things are happening. I’m cautiously optimistic about our business this year – it can’t be any worse than last year’s, that’s for sure! The big project for this year will be the opening of IOLANI’s factory museum which will showcase the history of IOLANI and Hawai’i’s apparel industry and also sell IOLANI products. It will help showcase our products and history with the goal of increasing IOLANI’s value to its wholesale customers.
I’m glad the New Year’s weekend is finally over .. way too much partying! We had a blast on our first night back at Kani Ka Pila for 2010 last Saturday. It was also Alex’s birthday, so the place was packed with friends and family … mahalo to everyone who came and partied with us! Many thanks, also, for all the gifts and lei that Alex received from you guys!
Yesterday we went to see the movie “Avatar” … what an AWESOME movie! I highly recommend it to all you guys so go see it – I promise you won’t be disappointed! And make sure you see the IMAX version with the 3D glasses ….
