Good morning everyone! It’s 6am and still dark outside … the air is very cool and damp and since there’s no wind, everything is still and silent. This is my favorite time of the day … my mind is clear and my spiritual senses are strong.
Although our IOLANI offices are closed for the holidays, my days are still busy with ManoaDNA projects. We’re still trying to finish our first radio show for Japan, and it’s turning out to be quite a task! It’s been very difficult for us because we have no radio experience and no mentor here to help us, so we’re sort of “flying by the seat of our pants”! Don’t get me wrong, though … the boys and I welcome this challenge and we are grateful for the opportunity to expand our skills! What’s really cool is that I know this experience will only add more depth and polish to MDNA and help make us better!
Now that 2010 is right around the corner, I can’t help but feel a certain sense of excitement growing inside of me. The best way to describe it is that it’s like revving up the engines of your car, waiting impatiently for the light to turn green. Maybe it’s because this year has been such a disaster for so many people and it’s time to leave ’09 behind and welcome in the new decade NOW!
Aloha, “D”
