Another busy morning … the boys just got back from an early morning appearance on the KHON TV news to pitch our Lokahi Foundation mini-fundraiser at Lulu’s next Friday, Dec. 18th, from 6-9pm. This was sort of a last-minute idea that Nick came up with to try and help those in need during this holiday season. So please come down to Lulu’s next Friday and help us and Lokahi by bringing a gift or donation – mahalo!
Our pal, Susan Sunderland, invited us down to the Kani Ka Pila Grille today for the weekly Aloha Friday Luncheon Show. Besides some great Hawai’ian food, there will be performances by Raiatea, Na Leo, and Waipuna, a new group which includes my “nephew” Kale Hannahs. Should be a lot of fun!
Carla goes in for her procedure this afternoon so she won’t be able to go with us today or come down to Lulu’s tonight. She’s been having problems with her gall bladder so doctors decided that it was time to “hemo da buggah” (translation: extricate the little devil via laparoscopy surgical procedure). Today’s procedure will help relieve a lot of the current discomfort, and then they will schedule the actual surgery for a later date. The boys, the puppies, “Fifi”(aka Linda), and I will make sure she gets a lot of TLC so please don’t worry!
Aloha, “D”
