Wow, it is an absolutely GORGEOUS morning here in the valley! The skies are cloudless and there’s a moist chill in the air as I watch the sun start to peek over the lush green mountains … awesome! I love the holiday season because the weather gets a little cooler and we start to have a lot of mornings like today. Hmmm … gonna have to write a song about this!
Sad news … Nick called to tell us that Steve the Parakeet passed away last night. It must have already been sick when Nick found it by our house … bummer!
Yayy! I just got my new squash shoes (my old ones literally fell apart!) and a box of balls which I had ordered online. I think I’m going to order all my Christmas stuff online this year .. sure beats fighting the crowds at the malls!
ManoaDNA performs at the Taste of Manoa over at the U.H. Campus Center this Friday from 5:30 – 7:00pm, so we will not be at Lulu’s (again .. sorry!). The Taste of Manoa is open to the public and admission is free so come join us if you’re in the neighborhood. It also looks like we won’t be at Kani Ka Pila this Saturday since we’ll be playing at the Lokahi fundraiser at Ala Moana Center. We will be back at both Lulu’s and KKPG next week, however.
