Monday blues …

Aloha everyone … it’s Monday evening and I’m finally getting around to writing something.  I was going write my usual morning blog but somehow lacked the motivation to do so.  It actually turned out to be quite a busy day with meetings, errands, and a spirited game of squash at noon.  Now after stuffing my face at dinner, I’m quite ready to share some tidbits with you!

First, the bad news … man, it seems like people are dropping like flies lately – I just learned that another one of my good friends’ mom just passed away!  That makes seven in less than a month … what the #%&#@ is going on?!  Is there an angel shortage or what?!

Shot a decent round of golf yesterday at Olomana (80) considering the shape of the course – rough, aerated greens, hard concrete-like dirt patches in the fairway, and so many small rocks and stones you could start your own quarry!  I still had a good time with my Selohssa gang, though … we’re headed up to Reno next week for our club’s annual golf tournament, so everyone was trying to fine tune their game.

I also listened to Alex’s latest composition for a Hawaii Tourism commercial … very smooth & catchy!  I like it so much that I think we should include it as one of the tracks on our upcoming CD.  It’s been over TWO YEARS since we recorded NO PLACE LIKE HOME, and Alex’s song writing has really matured since then … I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised when our new CD hits the market early next year!

(Yawn!)  It’s time to go moi moi, so …

Aloha, Lloy”D”
