I won’t be able to do my usual Thursday afternoon golf with my buddies 🙁 ’cause we have to perform for a promotion at the Ala Moana Center this afternoon. I have no idea what it’s for, but it’s scheduled so I’m there. I picked up the new L.R. Baggs D.I. (connects my guitar to the sound system) and I’m excited to try it out! It has a small E.Q., tuner, and best of all, a DC input which means I’ll be able to use direct current instead of a battery! No more sudden distortion , “drop-outs”, or weird noises caused by weak batteries during a performance! Awesome!
Some of the girls from StudioRim Hawaii are coming down to IOLANI today to check out our women’s line. They’re emceeing the shows up in Sapporo the following week so hopefully we’ll see them in our stuff! IOLANI NO KA ‘OI!! Speaking of shows, we’re looking for some new hula song(s) to perform live, so I thought I’d ask you guys for some input … after all, you are the reason why we love to perform!
