It looks like we will be spared much of the rain and wind that tropical storm Felicia was expected to bring today.  Although the skies are mostly cloudy, I can see patches of blue sky here and there.  It’s also not as muggy as it was yesterday as the tradewinds appear to be slowly returning.

I have to go get my annual eye examination this morning – I hate it because they put these drops in your eyes to dilate the pupils which makes them very sensitive to light and also makes your vision hazy.   My doctor is very good, however, and she always tries to get me in and out of there as quickly as possible.  The rest of the day is pretty slow – not like yesterday when I was on the go pretty much the whole day.  I think I’m going to play squash during lunch and then try to catch up on some of my work … boring!
