WE HAVE RETURNED!
Aloha everybody, and welcome to this week’s episode of “Where the heck has Manoa DNA been?!” Reporting live from Honolulu, Hawai’i, I am your host, the “N,” Nick.
It was a long journey across a big ocean, covering some 100,000,000 miles, which roughly translates into 78 Kilometers (I tried to learn in Japan, but it was hard). We did 12 shows, 5 venues, 3 cities, in 8 days. All in all it translates into a capital WHEW!! Opening for the ever-graceful, Amy Hanaiali’i-Gilliom, we covered so much ground and met so many new friends. It was such a great adventure, but we are definitely happy to be home again, sleeping in our own beds.
Thanks go out to the crew from Hawai’i Tourism Japan, Yumi & Kaneko, for taking care of us in Japan. All of the sound crews we worked with along the way, along with the support staff at each venue. To Amy, John, Madeline, Chino, Joe & Marcus, it was a blessing to be able to travel with you folks, we can’t wait to do it again. And of course, to our new friends and family up in Japan, a big ã‚ã‚ŠãŒã¨ã†ã”ã–ã„ã¾ã™ï¼ For bringing us into your hearts, ears, and homes. We hope to be back in Japan soon!
Pictures will be up as soon as I sort through the 300 we took. (Like I said, it was a long trip.)
P.S. Check myspace.manoadna.com. It has been updated through July. We got a lot comin’ up, so come on down!
