Heading home!

‘Morning, my peeps!  It’s Monday here in sunny Las Vegas and I just got back from dropping my mom off at the airport.  Carla’s family also has a flight around the same time, so they took a limo since we couldn’t all fit in my car.  Carla and I will probably do a little shopping before catching the shuttle to the airport for our flight home this afternoon.  Some of the Selohssa golf members left yesterday while the rest will be flying home today.  It’s been a lot of fun but enough is enough … it’s time to get back to work!  The boys and I have a lot to do this week since we’re leaving for Japan shortly, and I know my desk will be piled high with stuff that I need to get done …

I have to pick up a box or two of my favorite Ethel M’s almond crisps before we leave.  Back in my younger days, I used to buy a 1 lb. box of the candy at the airport and eat the entire thing on the flight home!  Can’t do that anymore these days, but I still love those crunchy little almond squares.  I may also have to make a stop at the In ‘n Out Burger over on Tropicana since Vegas wouldn’t be complete without ordering a “double double animal style combo”!

Goodbye, Vegas … hello, Hawai’i!

Aloha, “D”
