Feelin’ MUCH better!!

Hey, everybody … finally got rid of that damn fever!  And even though I’ve still got some congestion left, I feel SO much better now that the awful chills and body aches are gone!  I think Joni Mitchell’s lyrics, “Don’t it always seem to go that you don’t know what you got till it’s gone” also applies to your health.  You really don’t know how important good health is until it’s gone and you’re really sick!

I’m gonna venture out for the first time this week … MDNA is doing a short performance at the Aloha Friday Luncheon show down at our own Kani Ka Pila Grille at the Outrigger Reef.  I love Hawaiian food so I’m really looking forward to it!  I have one meeting after that and then I’m coming home to rest because I know I’ll be exhausted!  At least we don’t have to play tonight or tomorrow ..

Lastly, I’d like to give hugs to Carla, Linda, Buster, Peanut, and Jazzie for taking good care of me while I was sick … Aloha, “D”.

    Dear Lloyd-san
Hello This is Ayako Miyamoto. Thank you so much for sparing your time for us whilst our stay in Hawaii. We had a great time because of you. Thank you!
First of all IOLANI store was amazing. We so want to go back there again!
My husband has been wearing the shirt he bought and our family and friends really really liked what we bought for them. Actually this weekend my husband’s cousin will go to IOLANI to get some shirt and dress today or tomorrow for a wedding. I don’t know if you’ll be at the shop but they’ll come anyway. Side Street Inn was also amazing. We really really enjoyed the local food. That was the best food during our stay in Hawaii.
I will try to find you when you come to tokyo this month. I ‘ll also keep in touch with Ann-san. My husband and I feel very very appreciated. Once again thank you so much for making our trip so awesome!

    See you soon!

    • Mahalo, Ayako-san!
Thank you for your nice email! It was indeed a pleasure to visit with you guys while you were here in Hawai’i, and I apologize for taking up so much of your time since I know your stay here was very short! I’m also glad to hear that everyone liked the gifts from our IOLANI store and I hope you’ll come and visit us again the next time you’re in Honolulu! Please take care, and maybe we’ll see you in Tokyo this week! Mata, ne?
      Aloha,
