The “Star-Advertiser” has arrived!

‘Morning, all … it’s another BEEEEEYOOTIFUL day in Hawai’i nei!  I just got through reading the new edition of the Star-Advertiser, now Hawai’i’s only major newspaper.  I think it was better when there were two – the Advertiser and the Star-Bulletin – but I guess the poor economy finally forced the two to merge.

I had a nice lunch meeting with my buddy, Reiko Rogers, of Studio Rim Hawai’i at Stage Restaurant yesterday.  Reiko is very energetic and creative … just like us! :-)  And if you haven’t tried Stage, it’s a great place to have a meeting since the food is very good and the restaurant is very quiet.  Their special poke appetizer is my favorite – it’s a nice variation of the standard poke which we’re all familiar with, but also includes peanuts, avocado, and tobiko!

Stage's specialty poke ... mmmm, good!

Since my wrist is still very sore, I decided to go jogging after I got home last night.  This was the first time I’ve gone jogging in almost a year and boy, was my body sore this morning!  I sure hope my wrist heals quickly because I hate jogging and I really miss playing squash!

By the way … just want to remind you that tomorrow night, Wednesday, the full MDNA band will be performing at the Honolulu Zoo from 6 to 7pm.  We’ll be performing some of the tracks from our new CD “EVOLUTION” along with a lot of your old favorites, so come on down and enjoy!

Aloha, “D”

Do all the Studio Rim girls like to run?? Must be because all the boys are chasing them, huh? Anyway, I was training for the Honolulu Marathon many years ago and gave up because I suddenly realized that I didn’t like running! Good luck to all of you in your marathons!
