So since I’m doing so much homework and studying, I need something to make sure I stay sane. An app on my iPhone called face melter keeps me happy an busy. All I have to do is take a picture on my phone and I can make it do whatever I want! Check out the pictures below of me…this is what I do in class all day. I promise that every picture is me hahaha!

MDNA Blog – School is KILLING ME!

My goodness the work never stops….
This weekend I’m not out partying or doing anything fun…I’m in my room doing homework and writing papers for my classes this semester. I keep telling myself that it’s only 5 months of torture and then hopefully I pass all of my classes and graduate! How awesome am I going to feel if I graduate in May?!?!? WHO WANTS TO COME AND PARTY!?!?!?

Anyways, I am in the process of writing my second 20 page paper of the month that’s due on Monday while studying for a midterm I have on Monday and preparing for two presentations I have to give on Tuesday. Needless to say I can’t wait till this semester is over but I can’t slack off or else I won’t graduate!

The good thing though is that I’m going to wake up early tomorrow to go surfing with my friend and just relax in the morning.

MDNA Blog – My last class..

I was going to post this on twitter or facebook, but I want to really explain how awesome this was…

I walk in late…
Disturb the lecture to turn in my paper in front of class…
Walk to a chair and realize it’s broken…
Make all this noise moving to another chair…
This chair is really squeaky…
Stay still so I don’t make noise…
My phone rings at full volume…
I mute it…
As I pull my phone out to turn the ringer off, 4 coins fall on to the floor…
They ring on the floor and one rolls all the way down the slope to the front of class…
I’m impressed that I did that…
Another late guy walks in front of me to sit down…
My umbrella trips him and he accidentally kicks it into another girls leg…
I laugh softly…
Now I sit as still as possible, hoping I don’t crap my pants or something…

MDNA Blog – Raining on My Clean Truck

I spent 3 hours yesterday detailing my truck – washed, waxed, detailed trim, cleaned interior, dressed the tires – and I wake up to a constant rain in Manoa. I guess I should be used to it because Manoa rains almost everyday and every time I wash my car it rains. Oh well, stuff happens right??

Today I have no school because its Wednesday and yesterday was a holiday so that everyone can vote so I’ve been trying to recharge my battery and its worked. With all this rain its easy to just sit and do nothing. We have practice tonight for some new songs so tonight should be fun!

What to do in class?

I am writing to you in class because I don’t know what else to do. I think I should take notes but I feel sullen lazy today so here I am! Here is what is flowing through my mind right now…

The other week I was talking to a friend (we’ll call him “Mark”) who works for one of the Apple Stores here in Hawaii, and he was telling me that they are hiring. Well, I love all apple products and I think it would be kind of fun to work there part time since things are calm right now. If anything it’ll give me something to do when I’m not in school or playing music. So,I was going to apply this week because I thought that things were slow, but all of a sudden I started getting suer busy! ManoaDNA has gigs all week and I got some solo gigs for November too. There goes my desire to work for apple this month!!

Well, I’m almost done with school today and we have practice later so I’ll check in another time!

Hello everyone!
We arrived back home in Hawaii today and I am exhausted. I went straight from the airport to the University of Hawaii to take two exams today. That was not the best way to arrive at home, but I was happy that I got to take the exams!

We had a great trip and I want to thank everyone who came to see us on this last trip! Thank you very much for supporting ManoaDNA and also Hawaii Tourism!

I’m still going through all of my pictures so I will post them when I can. I have a lot so please bear with me.

I’m deciding whether or not to go to sleep because I want to stay up and beat jet lag, but I’m so tired so I don’t know what to do!!!

School Today…not for me :)

The University of Hawaii in Manoa starts classes today, but I don’t have classes today. In fact, I’m not sure when I’ll have classes because I might have to take the semester off to work on music more. We have a busy first half of the year and I’m not sure if I’ll be able to concentrate on school or make any deadlines. I need to make my decision soon though!!!!

Other than that, I’m excited for our first radio show this Sunday (japan time) at 11am!!! For those of you who don’t know, Manoa DNA has there own radio show in Nagoya on 79.5 Radio-i and it’s called “Manoa DNA’s Discover Aloha”. If you are in Nagoya, please listen and send us some good questions that we can answer. Keep checking our website and hopefully we’ll have ways to listen to our show if you aren’t in Nagoya.

I can sleep!

I’ve been thinking…ever since the new year, I’ve been on vacation and relaxing. Am I allowed to do that? It feels like I should be doing something but I don’t. I think because October, November, and December were so crazy and filled with different things to do I feel like if I stay still I’m missing something that is due. I don’t know…it’s kind of nice to just relax for a little while.
I start school again next week…not very excited for that, but whatever, I have to do it. We have many things planned in Japan towards the end of the semester so I’m not sure how I will do this semester.

Anyways, I’m going out to Target now to run some errands!

I don’t know where time has gone, but we are going back to Japan already. I have so much to do…I don’t know where to start. I’m ready to go to japan, but I have a lot of work to do while I’m there. Will I have fun?? ALWAYS!!!

I will blog tomorrow before we leave, but for now I need some sleep badly!
