If you need another reason to come down to Kani Ka Pila, then you are just too picky about your Saturday evening entertainment. But, let’s say, for now, I will amuse you.

This Saturday, the 20th of February, I am inviting all of you down to Kani Ka Pila Bar & Grille at the Outrigger Reef on the Beach in Waikiki to join Manoa DNA from 6-9p. I do feel a little awkward about especially inviting you to this one, since I should be promoting it on a weekly basis, but oh well.

We will be having a lot of fun this weekend, and it just so happens that I turn 27 that day, so la-di-da. Get it? Got it? See you there.

Happy Halloween everyone! As we prepare for the holiday season, Manoa DNA will be going into semi-hiding and preparing their new album! October will be a pretty mellow Manoa DNA month, with only Lulus and Kani Ka Pila on the bill, but with one more trip to Japan scheduled in the beginning of November and going into the studio, rest assured we will be working on some new, fun stuff!

If you haven’t heard already, we have been broadcasting our live events using ustream.tv! This is really fun and exciting for us because it allows us to connect directly with those fans who cannot be at our show in person. We have met a lot of people around the world who watch us and continue to support us from afar. Thank you to all who have made Manoa DNA Live! a success, and we look forward to broadcasting more in the future!

3rd & 17th: Kani Ka Pila @ The Outrigger Reef Come down and see Manoa DNA under the stars in Waikiki. This outdoor venue is a perfect setting to listen to Manoa DNA! Live broadcasts will be unavailable at Kani Ka Pila due to bandwidth restrictions by the Outrigger Reef hotel.

What do you think of the title? A little adjustment means that I finally have some idea of where I want to take this bad boy!

Happy June All! I don’t know about where you are, but it is hot here! We don’t have too many special engagements this month, but we will be down at our regular haunts weekly. Here is our summary for June:

5th, 12th, 19th, & 26th: Lulus Waikiki Continuing our weekly Friday night feature at Lulus Bar & Grill in Waikiki, Manoa DNA is there every Friday night in June from 6pm-9pm!

6th, 13th & 27th: Kani Ka Pila Honolulu’s hottest kama’aina and visitor hotspot is Kani Ka Pila Bar at the Outrigger Reef Hotel in Waikiki! We are there on a couple Saturdays during June, so come and see us, 5:30pm to 8:30pm!

9th: Na Hoku Hanohano Live Performance For the first time in our short history, we have been invited to play live on stage during the Na Hoku Hanohano Award Ceremony! This is a huge honor for us and we are happy to be a part of this year’s festivities!
