July is Independence!

July 1st, 2009

july
Happy Independence Month everybody! As we are now in the full swing of summer, let’s all take a moment to remember the day when our nation declared themselves independent and separate. It serves as a good memory, not only because it did not come cheap, but that we are a nation who stands up for what they believe in. Have a great summer, and thank a soldier for keeping you safe and free!

3rd, 10th & 31st: Lulus Fridays Keeping with our normal haunts, we continue our weekly stay at Lulus Waikiki Surf Club, in beautiful Waikiki. Come down and see us, 6-9pm.

4th: 4th of July Show at Ala Moana Headlining a huge group of entertainers, Manoa DNA will cap off a whole day of fun at Ala Moana Center. We will be the last ones performing on the rooftop, right before the fireworks show begins, so get there early and grab a seat where you can. 30,000 people pile onto the roof every year, and this year is expected to impress no less.

8th: Hawaii State Soccer Tournament Every year, we help out our soccer friends and perform at the Kapiolani park bandstand for their welcoming ceremonies. Hosting teams from around the world, it is a short set, so come down and see us if you can. Festivities start at 4pm.

10th: Studio Rim Pacific Radio Interview Those who can catch the show in Japan and in Hawai’i, tune in to hear us live on the air around 12:00pm HST.

15th: The Wildest Show In Town Another year, another great concert at the Zoo! This year’s lineup features a lot of Hawai’i’s top artists, including Manoa DNA! So come on down that Wednesday, and catch us before we head out on tour in Japan. Doors open around 4:30p, and the show kicks off at 6:00p.

16th to the 27th: Japan Tour We are working on getting you the final details of our summer tour in Japan, and will get you all the details soon. Stay tuned!
