This weekend we first headed over to DisneySea with Vance and Lea-chan where we rode rollercoasters, ate great food, and sweated a whole lot! Today, Alex and I headed over to Mt. Fuji and Hakone for some ono soba and sulfur springs.

We are very happy to be back in Tokyo for the second leg of our trip. Hope everyone had fun in Yokohama and gets some rest before tomorrow nights show! See you all then!

Hawai’i Pacific University, today, won the NCAA Div. 2 women’s softball national championship, beating Valdosta St. 4-3.

The University of Hawai’i Rainbow Wahine secured their first-ever College Softball World Series birth with a game-winning walk-off homerun.

And the University of Hawai’i mens baseball team advances to the NCAA tournament with a WAC (Western Athletic Conference) championship.

All in all, a very proud day for fans of the diamond. I watched the UH softball game yesterday, and it was a good one. Especially since they upset number-one seeded Alabama.

Good luck to UH, congratulations HPU, a great week for Hawai’i sports!

Friday night we will be back at Lulus, resuming our weekly Friday night schedule down there. It’s gonna be weird because we haven’t been down there since April 16th! I hope I can remember what it looks like

Saturday, we are appearing twice for your pleasure! In the afternoon, we are participating in the first annual Na Hoku O Hawai’i Music Festival. Unfortunately, there is no information regarding our performance on their website, so I can’t give you any links or information.

What I do know is that we will be at the Outrigger Reef on the Beach from 6-9p, at the Kani Ka Pila Grille! Appearing most Saturdays, this is a special “Na Hoku O Hawai’i” night, so it should be fun with everyone in town!

Ho-hum, the break was nice, but it will definitely be great playing for the home-town crowd again. Let’s see if I break into some Nick-anese on stage!

First of all, sorry for the delay between writings (exactly one month), but I have been working hard behind the scenes getting ready for summer! Hopefully, it will be worth it, and we can jam!

Secondly, thank you again, I can’t say it enough. Thank you all for coming out and supporting ManoaDNA! This last trip to Japan really showed how much love there is out there, and I am very thankful for all of it. I can’t wait to go back again in July.

Finally, as we take this week off before getting back to our regular schedule, I want to remind all of you that there is a lot of good stuff coming this summer, so stay tuned here and we will surely keep you in the loop!
